Blame it on the Taxman…
Sorry, no update this week. Too busy counting up my dimes and sending them off to Uncle Sam. But hey, if even Superman has to pay the piper, then who am I to complain.

Back with more tax-free Vince next Tuesday.

A George by any other name…
Hey everyone, just wanted to give you a heads up that our home page just underwent a major renovation. I hope you like the new look. We’ve been live for just over two years now. It was time for a change. Revamping our blog was part one… the home page part two.
I opted for the remodel for a couple of reasons:
First and foremost, I wanted to get the comic up on the home page. This way
when you hit the site, you get what you came for. No more clicking around to see
the latest update. I’ll keep the archives in the old “Case-File” format for now, but
everything from here on out will be in tune with the new style.
Secondly, I thought as long as we’re giving everything else a facelift, I would extend
the reconstructive surgery to me, George — A.K.A — Charlie Stickney.
Why the pen name? That’s a good question. Perhaps I was influenced by the romantic
tradition of the nom de plume…. or visions of a deranged stalker tracking me
down, demanding I do custom sketches of Vince and Leila playing Boggle, made me
gun-shy. Or maybe I just wanted a scapegoat to pin everything on if the website fell apart.
Well the website’s still here and I’m done with George getting all the credit for my hard work. So it’s Charlie from here on out. If you see me at a convention in the future say, hi Charlie. I’ll occasional respond to Charles or even Chuck according to a few select friends from college…. but George no more.
Enjoy the new old site and the new old me.

Episode 20 part 2
As you can see, Ep 20 part 2 is posted above. I would have liked to post part 3 as well (so everything would make a bit more sense), but it wasn’t finished on time. This brings me to the dilemma of the day –
The Regular Post VS. The Complete Post.
Is it better to put up a regular weekly post so you can check in on Tuesdays for your weekly dose of the Vinceverse… or is it better to only post when I have a full episode finished?
Obviously today I opted for the regular post. And knowing how long these episodes can get (episode 14 for example) and the amount of time I need to create them, I think this will be the tact I will be taking for the foreseeable future.
However, if this starts to rub anyone the wrong way, let me know. Never let it be said that GW is not all about his readers.
Sincerely,
G (all about his readers) W

Happily Ever Laughter Does Vince
Hey everyone, as always we are on the lookout for any Vince Germain media, classic or otherwise. So if you find some, feel free to send it our way so we can feature it on the site.Today we are fortunate enough to have received a video that was made by a sketch comedy group (Happily Ever Laughter — A.K.A. — HEL) at Vassar College in the early 90’s. Evidently the father of one of the members of the group was a HUGE Vince Germain fan. His son grew up listening to his father’s recordings of the old radio shows and wanted to add his own interpretation — Happily Ever Laughter’s tribute to Vince Germain.
Stay tuned for new Vince strip updates hopefully this week.Best — GW
Episode 18 - Catching our Breath
So we’re trying something new here. Let us know if the text is too small to read.
Thanks.
